The Over the Edge Open Mic is back! Come and read your original poetry or fiction in a welcoming, family friendly environment. Everyone who signs up gets five minutes at the microphone. Bring a friend and cheer each other on!
The event is 6:30-9 on Wednesday, July 10 at the Westside Resource Centre. Sign-up for reading slots begins at 6:15. Your host is Susan Millar DuMars.
Readers will include: Denise Garvey, Aelmuire Mulranney, Ieska Poppers, Audrey Dineen, Patricia Hamilton, Austin McGreal and Bern Butler. Also participating will be members of the Mechanics’ Institute and Wednesday Poetry writing groups.
