Poets of all experience levels are invited to participate for a chance to perform at the Grand Slam event in this year's Fingal Poetry Festival.
The evening will feature The Poet Geoff, host Sheila Ryder, and live music from Ange Bauxall.
This is a FREE EVENT, but spaces are limited, so please book your tickets on the Eventbrite page—poets and audience members alike.
There will be some open slots available on the night, but to ensure participation, please email and register your name at fingalpoetryslam@gmail.com.
Poets should come prepared to perform two poems of their choice.
Recommended age for participation: 15+
Both poets and audience members need to reserve a ticket.
The Fingal Poetry Festival are delighted to welcome The Poet Geoff as the featured poet for the night.
Geoff Finan served as the Writer in Residence for Dublin City Council in the Dublin North West area during the summers of 2018 and 2019. He was one of the coordinators for Poetry Town in Dublin 1 in 2021 and is currently lecturing in poetry at the National College of Art and Design.
