Melissa Ridge

Melissa Ridge is a spoken word artist originally from Maynooth, Kildare currently based in Glengarriff, West Cork. She is director and co-founder of Boundless & Bare. She is an editor at BND Magazine, host and producer on the Boundless & Bare Podcast and the director of the Sunshine Tantrum Tour, a national tour for spoken word artists.
Melissa is an accomplished and well respected poet who has been active on the Dublin scene for over four years. After revamping UCD's LitSoc as her role as auditor, Melissa has been bringing a fresh perspective to the Irish Spoken Word Community. Through her personal work and her work with the talented poetry collective, The Cracked Spine Melissa brings her experience and her heart to everything she does.
Being Boundless to Melissa is being free, having the curiosity and boldness to step outside of yourself and connect to others and the world around us.
Melanie O'Donovan
Co-FOUNDER | PRODUCTION MANAGER
Melanie, while not a poet herself is a creative who for years has been a consumer and facilitator of spoken word and other artforms in Ireland. She is the production manager and designer at BND Magazine, as well as host and producer of the Boundless & Bare Podcast. Through her work in advertising, digital media and her non-profit work she brings her professional skills and industry experience to every project she works on. She currently resides in Montreal, Canada.
Being Bare to Melanie is about being comfortable in vulnerability and baring witness to your truths .
Eithne Dodd
EDITOR
Eithne is the editor of BND Spoken Word Magazine. Though not a performance artist she enjoys listening to and writing about spoken word. She is a professional journalist and uses her skills to make a magazine that encompasses spoken word from all over the island from every kind of voice.
BND, to Eithne, is Bound as in how you are meant to pronounce. Eithne is a fan of vowels but, alas, she was overruled.
