This March, Imagine Festival brings a series of events to The Crescent, including a multimedia talk by award-winning poet Erin Fornoff on the power of poetry to drive tangible social change.
Exploring the profound potential of poetry, the talk delves into its role in movements like Hot Poets at UN climate meetings, youth programs encouraging emotional expression, viral campaigns, and testimonies from conflict zones like Gaza, highlighting how poetry communicates in ways ordinary language cannot.
As the festival’s Artivist in Residence, Fornoff will also deliver a poetry performance, a writing workshop, and a session on the storytelling methodology Story of Self.
