The Sunflower Sessions take place on the last Thursday of each month at 7:30pm, offering a welcoming space for poetry, prose, and spoken word enthusiasts.
Hosted on the second floor of The Lord Edward Public House in Dublin, just across from Christchurch Cathedral, the evening provides an open platform where readers have a strict four-minute limit to share their work, ensuring as many voices as possible are heard.
While the event is free, attendees are encouraged to support the venue by purchasing a drink from the lounge bar on the first floor.
Those interested in reading can confirm attendance via the event page, direct messages on the Sunflower Sessions Facebook page, or by emailing sunflower_sessions@yahoo.com.
While walk-ins are welcome, priority will be given to those who have signed up in advance, especially on busy nights. Please note that access to the venue requires climbing three flights of stairs, making it unfortunately inaccessible to all.
