The 1916 Arts Club meets on the second Saturday of each month at the Teachers’ Club to commemorate and celebrate the men and women who fought for Irish independence in 1916.
The event is open to all, welcoming performers of all levels in a non-party political, inclusive environment.
Performances do not need to reference 1916 or history and should be no longer than eight minutes. Participants can sing, play music, recite poetry, perform a monologue, act out a play extract, present a sketch, or do stand-up comedy. Those interested in performing can email 1916ArtsClub@gmail.com.
