Founded in 2016, The 1916 Centenary Performing Arts Club, meet on the first Saturday of the month to perform drama, recite poetry, play music and debate history. Their motivation is to commemorate and celebrate those that fought for Irish independence in 1916. Performers across a wide spectrum of the arts are welcome and encouraged to participate each month. The invitation extends to poets, comedians, singer/songwriters, actors, and musicians to come along and perform. The event is free-in at The Teacher’s Club, Dublin.
