Live, atmospheric storytelling in a cozy candlelit setting, set to evocative music – hear the famous tragic Cúchulainn legend ‘An Táin Bó Cúailnge’ (The Cattle of Raid of Cooley) like you’ve never heard it before. The Friday night storytelling session explores the lesser-known príomhscéalta, the background stories that lead up to the Táin, told traditionally at Samhain. The second evening on Saturday night centres on the Táin legend itself, shedding light on the boy troop – the kids who trained beside Cúchulainn – and their fate.  While the stories are linked, they are standalone sessions.
