In association with Poetry Ireland, Tongue Fu brings poets, writers, and storytellers together on stage to perform live, accompanied by the quick-witted improvisation of the Tongue Fu band—without any prior rehearsal.
Led by poet, musician, and founder Chris Redmond (BBC Radio 1, 2, 4, 6 and Sky Arts), Tongue Fu has been one of the UK’s leading spoken word and music shows for eighteen years, featuring musicians who have performed with Jamie Cullum, The Last Poets, and Massive Attack. Part gig, part experiment, it’s a high-energy, big-hearted show with broad appeal.
