The Leinster heat for this year's All Ireland Poetry Slam competition will take place at Sin É, Dublin, on the last Sunday of September, the 29th hosted by David Hynes. Dublin's finest venue will be exclusively dedicated to this event for the night, running from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. An entry form will be made available in about two weeks, and further details will be shared soon.
After qualifying from the regional heats, three poets from each of the four provinces—Connaught, Leinster, Munster, and Ulster—will compete for the title of Ireland’s Poetry Slam Champion 2025. The winner will go on to represent Ireland in the European Poetry Slam Championship 2025, further elevating the profile of Irish spoken word on an international stage.
Additionally, this year's All-Ireland final will be held in Leinster, as Connaught is unable to host the event. The final is scheduled for Saturday, November 30th, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Pearse Street Library in Dublin, making it an exciting culmination of Ireland’s top spoken word talents.
