The North Down Heat of the Poetry Slam will take place on Saturday, 21st September, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Studio 1A. This electrifying event, priced at £5, will see poets compete against each other under the pressure of time and judgment. Participants, chosen at random, will have three minutes to present their original work to an audience and a panel of three judges. The top performers from this round will advance to the All-Ireland Poetry Slam Ulster Heat on Saturday, 28th September, also held at Studio 1A in Bangor. This event promises a dynamic and competitive showcase of spoken word talent.
