The Nerd Herd is the brainchild of comedian and former spoken word artist MJ Stokes, conceived after they spent a full fifteen minutes utterly enraptured by an Edinburgh comedian doing a set about badgers. They like nothing more than listening to witty people talking about their favourite things, not least because it makes them feel better about vomiting information about dwarves in Terry Pratchett novels all over their work colleagues.
