You might hear mention this time of year of the man who saved the Pagan Irish and brought them the Good News. But not all of the Pagan Irish were happy about that. The ancient warriors of Ireland had their own code. A code of generosity, hospitality, and courage. In other words, they were terrible sinners.
This is the story of what happened when a warrior poet met a slave-turned-monk. They talked about gods and goddesses, the nature of truth, and going toe-to-toe with the Devil herself.
