Birdwoman Presents The Lightwave Residual

How do we heal from the human condition? Leinster Slam Poetry Champ, musician, artist, and spiritual physicist, Birdwoman, has an unquenchable desire to be free. Her journey has taken her from hopelessness to hope, from paralysis to flight, from anxiety to enlightenment. She has stepped into her power and is ready to share what she has learned with the world. She is a change-maker who believes that real and profound change must begin on the energetic level first. In a world continuously distracted and consumed by out of control mass media consumption, we stand on the front line of a serious mental health crisis and wonder how we got here.

As society moves further away from organised religion and the gatherings associated with them, self service checkouts replace cashiers and text messages replace real conversations,  more and more people are becoming isolated and fearful of genuine human interaction. We must rectify this global crisis. For many, It is a matter of life or death. The “Lightwave Residual” is a mass gathering; A return to ritual. Through music, spoken word, art, movement, and spiritual physics, a troop of 4 powerful women will shed light on things that are usually invisible.  This show is a radical act of hope; A wrecking ball to the limitations we place on ourselves as human beings. It wants to connect us all for a moment in time and space. It wants us all to breathe and laugh together.
