Thursday Evening Performer’s Workshop

Calling all performers! Are you an actor, performer (of any kind; street performer, circus act, magician etc), performance poet/spoken-word artist, storyteller, comedian, playwright...etc?Could you just use some space to workshop or test a new piece of work you're developing?

Need to 'try stuff out', get feedback from an experienced facilitator and/or group of fellow performers?  Need an '3rd eye' view over your latest creation? You're in luck!  Facilitator Abby Oliveira will be available at the THE ARTS FACTORY (in The Gasyard Centre, Derry) EACH THURSDAY FROM 5-7PM for all your performance material workshopping needs. (for more info on Abby, please visit https://www.abbyoliveira.com/)

These sessions will run on a drop-in basis, though ideally would like to attract a group of performers who attend as regulars willing to give their input and feedback to other artists in a mutually nurturing & supportive environment.WORKSHOPS/USE OF SPACE ARE FREE

Though the session is essentially a drop-in, it would benefit all involved if anyone interested could please CONTACT FACILITATOR BY EMAIL PRIOR TO THE SESSION, INCLUDING THEEXCERPT OF THE PIECE OF WORK YOU WANT TO WORKSHOP (as a word doc or similar) if you'd like to work with the facilitator ... please email: abbyospokenword(at)gmail(dot)com if you'd like to attend.

(This project  is being funded/managed by the Bluebell rts Project @ The Gasyard, Lecky Rd, Derry.  Bluebell Arts currently offers a wide range of quality arts classes for youths and adults (including creative writing, music production/DJing, performance poetry/spoken-word,  video editing, painting, and much more) for little or no cost to participants.
