The Upstairs Sessions is a monthly night that welcomes singers, musicians, wordsmiths, performers and listeners with regular performances and recitations.

Get into the Christmas spirit with a very cosy, candle-lit Christmas singalong! We are having a Christmas night special where we welcome people to sing/sing along with their favourite Christmas songs, tunes, poems or tell us some Christmas stories. We will have a piano and guitars for people to use on the night. There'll be plenty of mince pies going around to get you into the Christmas spirit! Come join us for our very Christmasy session Upstairs in MVP Wens 11th of December!!

The Upstairs Sessions started out as a way to bring like-minded musicians and poets together. Spokesperson for the event Elaine O’Dea has said that in setting up the event, she wanted to be around people who are creative and active in these areas. The emphasis has been on inclusivity and engagement from the beginning. The really lovely thing about the night is having people around a circle listening and being open and supportive.
