BND Spoken Word Magazine Launch

Boundless & Bare presents the official launch of Ireland's First Spoken Word Magazine, BND on Friday 22nd February at Huckletree at 7.00pm.

Articles, interviews, essays and everything in between all in the name of canonizing and documenting the spoken word scene in Ireland. In this issue Peter Murphy takes a look back on the legacy of spoken word veteran, William S. Burroughs. Abby Oliveira gives you 5 Class Rap Acts From Northern Ireland you need to check out. Emily Murtagh explores the growing creative hubs in Waterford and Killkenny. Sorcha Doyle writes of her transition from being a spoken word poet to becoming a stand-up comedian. Eithne Dodd interviews Nuala Leonard, 2017 All Ireland Slam Winner about her experience representing Ireland in Europe. The poetry pamphlets reviewed include Alice Kinsella's 'Sexy Fruit' and newcomer Tómas Hade's 'You're So Much Smaller in the Sunlight'.  This one-of-a-kind publication is jam-packed with reviews, articles, essays and more all on the spoken word scene in Ireland.
